Inside the "Polished diamonds" chapter we explain about the importance of the color and the clarity of the diamond. As the diamond is more colorless and without inclusions it's price will flowery. The premier conclusion of the traders and the manufacturers was to find a way to change the color of the diamond and even more to "clean" and or to erasure some of the inclusions that the diamond will be much flawless then it was.

As you understand there are two kinds of treatments in this field, the color treatment and the clarity treatment. The decision about making the treatment process is taken by the manufacture's employees who consider if the diamond is suitable for the desirable treatment. Furthermore, we can say that the sources of the rough diamonds do not really like this process because it makes their collection rough diamonds under marketing risk. Clarity treatment
Color treatment
The most inexpensive way to buy a diamond . . .

Right now we will perform how to identify some of the common treatment processes. The most commonly color treatment process is "HPHT" treatment which makes the color of the diamond from brownish – yellow (K to N color) to collection colorless (D to F color). To recognize this treatment we advise to take the loose diamond under a white light and if you can see that the diamond's color looks like milky then you rather understand about the treatment process. The next treatment process is to change the color of the diamond from kind of white color to some of the fancy colors and you will be able to recognize that the scattering of the color is not equal. We highly recommend that you will demand a gemological test and certification for the diamond even if you sure that the diamond is untreated.
